Abstract/Sommario: US, the present day, winter. Sixtysomething Kim Sun-i (Lee Yeong-ran), living with her son (Lee Sung-ju) and daughter-in-law (Jang Seo-i), receives a call about the sale of her old family home back in South Korea. Returning home, she's met by her grand-daughter Eun-ju (Park Bo-yeong) and drives to the house in the country. Forty-seven years earlier, in the mid-'60s, Sun-i (Park Bo-yeong), her widowed mother (Jang Yeong-nam) and her younger sister Sun-ja (Kim Hyang-gi) had moved there into a property found by Ji-tae (Yu Yeon-seok), the playboy son of her late husband's business partner. Ji-tae, who had a house nearby, had always liked Sun-i. In an outhouse, Sun-i had discovered a feral young man, assumed to be one of the Korean War's many lost children, raised wild. With the authorities slow to find a home for him, Sun-i's mother had agreed to take him in and named him Cheol-su; Sun-i initially treated him like a pet dog, and the children all played together. Cheol-su turned out to have superhuman strength and toughness, and gradually Sun-i warmed to him. However, Ji-tae, who'd always hoped to marry Sun-i, became jealous. One night, when Ji-tae was harrassing Sun-i, Cheol-su appeared to morph into a werewolf and defended her. Ji-tae set out to delve into Cheol-su's background and discredit him.

He is on his way to find her, leaving his lecture and everything else behind.
