Abstract/Sommario:
Updated to the Cevennes countryside circa 1930s, this romantic tragedy is played out by the characters as though all is preordained. The three thematic dream sequences in the beginning, middle and end, allow the film to have a sense of freedom and escape beyond the boundaries of the narrative.
