Abstract/Sommario:
Sudo village, southern coast of South Korea, the present day, winter. Nguyễn Thị Thủy (Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc) is the Vietnamese wife of Han Jeong-su (Gang Sang-seok) and lives with him and his parents (Myeong Gye-nam, Kim Mi-jeong). She studies Korean at a local welfare centre run by nuns and spends much of her time looking after her mother-in-law, who has Alzheimer's.
