Abstract/Sommario:
A selection of restored vintage shorts made for theatrical release, originally produced by the GPO Film Unit shortly before the outbreak of World War II in September 1939. The shorts explain the civil defence precautions to be followed by householders in the event of war and were designed to instil calm and restore confidence at a time of great anxiety and concern.
