Future visions

Abstract/Sommario: This anthology provides accounts of how the convergence of new technologies is changing the old ones of the cinema and television. From IMAX to Virtual Reality, via HDTV, digital images, interactive games and multimedia, this text considers how economic and technological forces are pushing audiences and images into new configurations, and offers critical perspectives on the publicity that these technologies have generated.
