Abstract/Sommario: This book celebrate the achievements of the Lumiere Project (1991-1995), the first pan-european archive association to make a real impact. Documented are Lumiere's three main initiatives: an extensive programme of over 100 film restoration projects representing a wide range of European cinema history, an intensive search for lost films and the first Join European Filmography.

Abstract/Sommario: What young Samuel was doing at the time of night on the deserted quey, nobody will ever know for sure. In fact, when Mr. Eloi, an old retired sailor, approached him, he was staring at the waters of Tagus. Tired as he was of his days, Mr. Eloi could not have thought any other way. Samuel was there to put an end to his life.
