Abstract/Sommario: Defense attorney KANG receives a big case where he must defend HAN, who is accused of killing his wife. Even though her body is not discovered, the general public is quick to label him as the devil-reincarnate and begs for a swift guilty verdict. Abstract/Sommario: Busan, South Korea, the present day. Catholic priest Park Jeong-hun (Jo Jae-hyeon) has an almost paternal attachment to one of his flock, young teenager Yeon-mi (Yu Yeon-mi), who is also secretly liked by one of his altar-boys, Thomas (Kim Hyo-in). Father Park's only family is his aged father (Yu Sun-cheol), who is dying in hospital. Her elder sister, Su-hyeon (Bae Jeong-hwa), is especially devastated, as, with their parents dead, the two sisters only had each other. In her grief, Su-hyeon is initially angry at Father Park; but eventually she invites him along when she scatters Yeon-mi's ashes in the sea. The two end up in a hotel together, where they have sex. Eventually, Father Park goes off to Peru to find a friend, Padre Choi (Kim Dong-su), who's recently written to him.
